Another thing to consider is if the packs are of limited distribution.  It’s best to buy limited PLR because you can be assured that only a few other people will be using the same articles that you are using.  Even if the pack is limited to a distribution of 100, remember that only 5% of the people that buy it will actually take action and do something with them!

What To Do With Your PLR Articles

There are lots of things you can do with PLR content.  Although a lot of people advocate rewriting them, this is not necessary since there is no duplicate content penalty so you can put them on your site as – is.   

However, it can be a good practice to add your own personality to the articles by giving them a little tweak.

As mentioned above, take the time to read them.  Absorb the information.  By doing this you will learn a lot and actually become quite knowledgeable in your niche.  The articles will give you the knowledge you need to write a ton of other articles based on what you have learned.

You can then, put them on your website or blog, add them to your autoresponder, compliel them into a short report for your list or rework them to submit to article directories.

With PLR articles, you are not only getting great content, but, if you buy good quality PLR, you are also getting the research that goes into writing these articles.  That research can save you many hours and  help you become an expert in your niche in no time at all!

Article marketing is a powerful tool that you can use to attract a lot of visitors to your website.  How article marketing works is that you write an interesting article and submit it to an article directory.  Then when your article is read by the directory’s visitors and they like it and want to see more of your work, they click on the link you provide in the resource box (which links back to your website).

But you need to write and submit articles that are inspiring, attention grabbing and captivating.  Your articles should be informative and educational.  In short, they should be valuable to the reader.  If you create these valued articles, they will be read by hundreds of readers who will click on the link in your resource box that links back to your web page and which in turn gets you the traffic you desire.

So the question is, how do you create these powerful articles? 

To begin, you need to write simply and honestly.  This creates an element of trust and it also helps your reader relate to you.  If your reader feels a connection with you and trusts you, he is more likely to click on your link to get more information.  He feels he can trust you to provide what he is looking for and that trust makes him more apt to buy the product or service you have to offer.

One good way to get that connection with your reader is to include a lot of ‘you’ and ‘yours’ in your writing.  This draws the reader into the article.  It isn’t just about some random ‘we’ or ‘they’ person, the article involves him. 

Another way to attract your reader’s attention and to help him become involved in your article is to include the benefits and features of what you are offering in the article.  Tell the reader what he can benefit from by using your service or buying your product.  Make the article all about him.  It’s the ‘what’s in it for me?’ ploy.  Answer that question for your reader and you will have him sold.

Make your article readable for your reader too.  Don’t use overlong paragraphs.  Try to get each point you present across in two or three sentences.  That makes your words short and to the point, a feature that your reader will appreciate. 

Use power words in your articles as well.  Words like ‘dynamic’, ‘powerful’, ‘exciting’, and ‘fantastic’ are all power words.  Of course, there are many more and by using these words you add strength to your writing. 

You also need to ensure that your article contains new, interesting, valuable information for your reader.  Find some new point to include that your reader may not have been aware of before.  Try to find a new slant to an old topic.  Include a new trend that may have developed in your field.  Search the internet for ideas (but be sure they are new and fresh).

Powerful articles that entice your reader encourage your reader to find out more about you.  They want more of what you have already given them so they are more likely to click on the link you offer.  And that is what article marketing is all about—creating powerful articles to entice your reader to follow through to your website so that you can make a sale and become an internet success.

When starting, it is a good idea to start with keywords that are getting about 30 hits a day at Overture.  Normally there would also be less than ten million entries returned from the Google keyword search for your topic.  This strategy speaks to targeting the long-tail keywords as opposed to the highly competitive short-tail keywords.  With some basic knowledge of Google’s keyword tool, you will find innumerable targets and phrases that you can do this with.  So instead of trying to optimize for the phrase “home business”, seek to target “online home business” or “home business marketing” as examples.  There is no end to topics available on the internet.

Use original content when submitting to Article Directories.  They have a way of finding out if your content is not original.  Article directory submission guidelines always require you have exclusive license allows your name to be associated with the articles produced for you or by you.  Be aware of this to avoid disciplinary action or blacklisting.
